Personality: A bit flimsical and loves rules and order. He tends to exagerate quite a lot of things, and tries make people jealous (maybe because he's quite possesive himself), and usually have a lot of fun tricking people with an innocent face so they'll never blame him for any troubles. (He also usually hide sadness or hurt behind a smile, until he's all alone/with someone he trust; then he'll trow a tantrum.)

He can be quite blunt and too honest at times, but that's just because he doesn't take time to think too far ahead.

As a vampire he's of course allergic to garlic, salt and vinegar. Religious artifacts repell all of his kind, and the tail of a stingray used as whip can kill him. But like all aswangs Lex is a daywalker, with all his powers gone during the light hours.

Powers/Abilities:
Okay, so Aswangs. They are a quite odd type of vampires/were-creatures from the Phillipines (so I'm really not making any of this up);

Instead of fangs aswangs can turn their tounge into a (if needed to, a several meters long) proboscises, with a sharp needle tip. When they hunt they simply perch themselves on the roof of a home and stick their tongue in through a window to feed on the people sleeping inside.

The word aswang really means ghoul-dog, and referres to their ability to take the form of an ordinary animal, like a dog (usually) or a cat, bat, goat, bird, or even a boar so they can sneak about in the night. Thus aswangs are a bit like a mix between a vampire and a werewolf (and the stories about them may differ quite a bit depeding on where you go look for them)

All aswangs are daywalkers, and live an ordinary human life during the day. The only difference to them then is that they do not posess any of their aswang-abilities. Living around an aswang is not so bad really; they never attack their neighbours, in order to not draw any attention to themselves (there's even a Filipino saying, "Better an aswang than a thief." referring to this).

What really makes the aswang stand apart from usual vampires is how they get aruond if they do not take an animal form when they go out to hunt; they can fly without transforming, but not without first splitting their body in half, leaving the hips and legs behind. Some even claim that they can use the intestines that are hanging out of their guts to trap people, moving them about as tentacles.

Aswangs do not only feed on blood; they do enjoy eating people to. Extra delichious is the heart and liver of an unborn child.

Since the aswang is usually up all night they tend to look quite tired and have blood-shot eyes. Though the easiest way to know if someone is an aswang is to look them in the eyes; if your reflection is up-side-down they're not human anymore.

Like all vampires aswangs are extremly allergic to salt, garlic and vinegar. Holy water, or holy symbols and prayers of any religion repells them to, and you can easily kill them by using the tail of a stingray as a whip.

Lex himsef not yet powerful enough to transform or do much more harm to anyone than to leach on them, and being stronger than a human of his size. He dreams of the night when he will actauly be able to fly.

He can still not go 3 days without blood without feeling quite sick. Leave him for about a week and he'd most likely be dead.

Brief History:

So far Lex's life has been quite uneventful; he grew up in a small family in a busy town where nobody ever noticed a few casualties here and there.

Since he couldn't fly or transform his parents would bring home what he needed; it would allow him to sleep more and be able to focus on school more anyway. Lex knows his parents have high hopes for him even if they never said it out loud; they are on the poor branch of the family, and he is the only child they have. Lex himself however is more interested in becoming a proper vampire, since his cousins always tease him for being so dense he can't even split himself yet. So going to a monster-school that is one of the things he really hopes to learn soon
